H.W. “Sandy” Sanderson Jr. received a B.A. from N.C. State in 1989 and then graduated cum laude from Campbell University’s School of Law in 1992. While in law school he served on the Editorial Board of the Campbell Law Review. Sandy was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in 1992 and has practiced at Holland, Poole, Holland & Sanderson, P.A. in Clinton, N.C. his entire career. He is General Counsel for Star Communications and the Town Attorney for Roseboro. His main other practice areas are Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and Wills and Estates. Holland, Poole, Holland & Sanderson, P.A. was founded by Maurice Holland in 1948. Billie Lynn Poole joined the firm in 1965. Ross Holland joined the firm in 1981 and H.W. “Sandy” Sanderson Jr. joined in 1992. Each of the named partners practiced with the firm their entire careers. Maurice Holland passed away in 1996, Billie Lynn Poole in 2021 and Ross Holland in 2022. As the sole surviving member, Mr. Sanderson continues the practice of the firm and strives each day to uphold the standards set by his former partners. Mr. Sanderson has a general Civil Practice. His practice areas include Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and Wills and Estates.
